I have several students with autism who respond to animal puppets that look like real life animals. These connections help them learn to navigate a school environment and engage with their teacher and peers. We will use these puzzles and puppets to build fine motor skills, as well as teach students to relate to one another. The social-emotional and fine motor skills that will be learned through the use of these resources will last a lifetime!! I can’t wait to see the laughter the puppets will bring to my classroom, as well as the fine motor skills built through the puzzles!!
