I am a kindergarten teacher at a primary school in Milton, WA. This school is where all of our district's youngest learners begin their adventure in education. Here I help shape my little kinders into confident, independent problem-solvers who have a love for learning. Kindergarten is most students' first experience in a school setting, which is why it is so important that it is a positive experience. Creating a positive foundation for my kinders to grow from means I need to reach my diverse learners where they are and in ways they find engaging. My use of hands-on materials, games, technology, songs, movement, and art are just some of the ways I do this. Donors Choose has helped me acquire the materials and support I need to give my students the best that I can. They really do deserve the absolute best!
