My students will be learning the responsibilities that we, as a community, must embrace. The students will learn that although an animal shelter is government run, it relies heavily upon the kindness and dedication of volunteers. By donating to this project, you will be helping students experience the life of a shelter volunteer by completing hands-on activities such as cleaning out cages, doing the shelter laundry, and walking dogs. Students will leave with an appreciation for the hard work of volunteers and a sense of pride in working together for the betterment of their community.
