KASA scholars come from a variety of SEC and backgrounds, but come together with the common goal of being goal oriented and college bound. The challenges in a small, new, inner-city school in Maryland are tremendous, but quick wins have built great momentum. Students have expressed a desire for a school that has more technology, computers and access to the world and I believe they deserve it.
