Most of my kindergarten students only think of computers as a place to play video games. I want them to learn how to use computers to their full potential and show them all of the wonderful resources they can have as they move through their educational careers. I have a very diverse socioeconomic population in my class of 31 students. Many of them do not have access to updated, working computers. My goal is to help all of my students get comfortable with the latest technology by learning how to create their own Power Point presentations by the end of the school year. These projects will showcase what they have learned throughout the year in the areas of math, science, and social studies. It is a big goal, but I know that we can reach it together!
