My kindergarten students are eager to read. They cannot wait to begin reading real books like the big kids in our school. They are so excited the night that they take home their baggy book for the first time. Our school is a Title 1 school with over 80% free and reduced lunch. Our school is working hard to help students find a love for reading and we are working to make all our students lifelong readers.
