My students are an amazing group of boys and girls ages five through nine who have a variety of cognitive, developmental, physical, sensory, and emotional/behavioral needs. Some of my students do not use speech to communicate. Some use a combination of pictures and signs. Some use words. My classroom is filled with huge personalities. My students are funny, caring, hard working, and persistent. They are book lovers, artists, explorers, athletes, gamers, jokers, and performers who enjoy exploring the world around them.
