Our students are awesome. I love my job and those I work for. I am a reading specialist and I want my students to feel the joy of reading. My students are high school aged but due to a variety of cognitive delays they read at a Kindergarten to third grade level. I am trying to build a leveled library for my classroom that they will be able to find a book that they can read. Books are so important. Most of the books we have available are at such a high level, my students can not experience the immersion into a book the way their same aged peers in the general education setting. I want my students to have that experience. With your help, we can get books on their level.
