My students are an amazing group of children. Our school serves a high number of economically disadvantaged students. Some of them show up with smiles on their faces every morning despite the trials they may be facing at home. They are helpful and always willing to lend a helping hand. I have had the honor of seeing the growth and progress that each one of them has made over the past year because I got to loop with them to third grade. Every one of my classes holds a special place in my heart but I have definitely developed an attachment to this wonderful group of selfless children. All I want for them is the best. Being that this is a challenging year for them with the pressures of the state exam I want to alleviate those pressures by creating an exciting and engaging learning environment. Our motto this school year is, "We are going to make it through the school year because we are a team!"
