The preschool students in my class are of working parents. Many are low-income status. My classroom has a mix of ethnicity's and backgrounds. The children are 4 years old, and are at school 8-10 hours per day, 5 days per week. Their experiences in our class are important in their development, and help them to prepare for the rigors of Kindergarten.
