I have an amazing group of 1st graders this year! They are thinkers and inquirers, always eagerly asking questions and wanting to know more about everything. They've got a great sense of humor and we love to laugh and have fun, but of course know when it's time to get started on our work. An independent bunch, they love being able to move around the room to work with partners at their tables, on the computers, or even on our carpet area. Our school focuses on inquiry-based learning, allowing students to experience concepts rather than just hear about them. We try to view concepts through an international lens, learning about other cultures and how they live in ways that are similar and different. And we strive to be life-long learners! Our goal is to teach students to love learning and always ask questions!
