My students are happy and energetic. They are the leaders of tomorrow! 13 second graders and 10 first graders were chosen to be in my combination class because they have shown themselves to be responsible, respectful, caring and motivated learners. My students are culturally diverse, but they share a love of learning and a hope for the future. 90% of my students are on the free lunch program and many share a room with their parents in a small apartment. The staff at my school is awesome and we all put in long hours and weekends to provide our students with the best education we can. My job is not an easy one. Most days I come home exhausted, but I keep at it, hoping to inspire my students to become life long learners.
