I teach at a Title I school where the majority of our students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds and complicated home situations. Because there is not a lot of consistency in many of their personal lives, I try to provide a safe, inviting, and comfortable environment through flexible seating options, manipulative for STEAM projects, and engaging activities (hands on activities and Room Transformations). I work hard so my students WANT to come to school because they know they have comfort, choices, and fun while learning.

About my class
