"Quality is much better than quantity. One home run is much better than two doubles."-Steve Jobs Our classroom consists of ten and eleven year old fifth graders. They are amazing young individuals who are eager to learn in any way possible. What makes our classroom unique, is that we have both general education students as well as students with disabilities. A lot of our time is spent in small groups, which means the groups that are not working with one of the teachers are in learning centers. Our students love the time they get to spend in centers and look forward to it each day. This is one way we teach our students to become independent learners. An important skill that will help them succeed throughout their schooling. We spend a lot of time making sure their centers are as beneficial as possible for each of our students. Like the quote above, we agree with Steve Jobs, Quality education will make our students successful learners.
