My students in Maui, Hawaii, bring contagious joy and creative ingenuity into their school and my class every week. They are part of a engineering class and school-wide movement towards incorporating 21st-century skills through a Project-Based-Learning (PBL) curriculum. Their skills and projects in this class set them apart in the community and prepare them to become the creative world-changers this generation needs! My students' love for learning is equaled and strengthened by their nurtured sense of self-confidence and curiosity about how the world works and how they can make it a better place.
