In today's digital age, it is extremely important to make your students familiar and accustomed to using technology in the classroom. We use technology in our classroom every single day, from recording students discussion question responses on FlipGrid to using various apps and websites to practice our math standards, and much more. I have recently tried introducing google classroom and assignments to our students, but with limited access to computers in the classroom, it has been difficult. If we had three more chromebooks in our classroom, it would benefit students in interacting with the wonderful world of technology that is out there. The importance of providing students with access to technology in today's ever changing world would give students the ability to take ownership of their learning! My wonderful, rambunctious, and curious second graders would be opened to an entire new world and method of learning if given access to more chromebooks in the classroom.
