My wiggly-giggly 6- and 7-year-old learners need seating options that allow them the space and flexibility to move about comfortably during their day. These wobble chairs, balance ball seats, and soft seats will allow them some movement while working. Do you remember sitting in class as a student? Were you comfortable in those hard metal and plastic chairs? How did this impact your learning? If our students are not comfortable, they will focus more on their discomfort than they will on their learning. Creating a comfortable environment for my students will maximize student learning. Allowing students to make a seating choice best suited to their learning styles will also help to maximize learning.
