In today's world technology is becoming such a big and important part of education. There are countless resources that can be used to learn and review math concepts. Technology often uses games and fun ways to help students. Students often don't even realize how much they are learning because they are having so much fun. Many of my students do not have access to technology at home and school is the place where they get all or most of their experiences with technology. We are requesting five Fire HD 8 Tablets with cases to help increase individual technology use in my math classes. We currently have classroom computers, but not nearly enough for even half of the students that are in my classroom at one time. My hope is to get five Fire HD 8 tablets so that students can work independently on math apps. These tablets will help my students use more interactive or individual activities about concepts we are learning. They will be especially helpful because I have many different types of learners in my classroom. My students respond very well to technology and I know they would be so thankful to have these in our math class.
