My classroom is made up of about 25 students that come from many different households. Over half of my students recieve free or reduced lunch which means their parent(s) do not make enough money above the poverty line. Some of my students come from broken homes and some of my students have a more traditional home setting, my job as a educator is to give each of my students what they need. I hope that through Donors Choose I will be able to provide my students some of those needs through books or flexible seating. My students are of all different colors and each bring their own uniqueness to my classroom. I am trying to build a classroom where we celebrate our differences and embrace all cultures. I want to be able to enrich my students lives so they are able view the world through different lenses and become better citizens.
