My students are full of energy and in need of a creative outlet that does not disrupt the learning of others. Providing flexible seating options, like a standing desk, will assist in keeping the student interest while productively managing their need to move. Students are stepping into the drivers seat and taking responsibility for their learning. By giving my students creative ways to collaborate they will be more engaged in the work they are doing. Providing them with responsibilities will also help them to grow and develop into young adults who can problem solve and work together. With these pieces of furniture I will be able to create a fun and inviting environment which will excite my students and give them something to be proud of.
