I am eagerly awaiting the start of the 2014-2015 school year. In less than a month I am looking forward to the arrival of my 14 new Kindergarten students. In my second year of teaching, I have very high hopes to improve on all aspects of my teaching. One area that I hope to improve upon is literacy. I want to create a print rich classroom that will engage students to become confident readers and writers. I am looking forward to engaging students with these great pieces of literature. Your donation will go toward the purchase of books that align with the CCSS and our new writing program. I hope to spend less time searching for books and more time creating inspiring, engaging, creative, and effective lessons for my students. Thank you for your support and consideration!
