Having enough headphones for each student to use would make a huge difference in their learning. Our classroom has a set of Chromebooks that we incorporate daily within every subject. We love using programs such as iReady, MobyMax, Prodigy, Essential Skills, and many more! Each of my three classes are made up of 23-25 students, and we have five pairs of headphones that are shared during each period. I allow five of my most struggling readers to access these headphones first. However, each of my students would benefit greatly by being able to use audio when working within each computer program. Using headphones would increase focus levels, deepen comprehension, and enhance learning outcomes.
