In our classroom we love to have fun and learn at the same time. We laugh together and cry together and even though our room is small it is filled with great love. I love my kids and they know that more than anything. I have and continue to pour time, effort and energy into my classroom, so that every child feels safe, welcomed and loved from the time they walk into my classroom. Our classroom theme is 'Fiesta in First' because of two main reasons. First, fiestas are bright, fun, loud, and are filled with people you love. Secondly our school is bilingual and Hispanic culture is heavily represented in our demographic as well as in our learning, as each child does take Spanish and learn about the language and culture that come with that. Both reasons are part of our identity as a class, and I couldn't imagine having our school family represented any other way!
