Our school held its first science fair last year and the students' excitement was amazing. As soon as the first fair was over, many were beginning to plan for next year. Their experiments ranged from chromatography to the biomechanics of baseball and many topics in between. To see their faces light up when an experiment leads to an unexpected result is wonderful. While my students have many obstacles to overcome due to the economic situation many of our families face, those obstacles disappear when the students are discovering the mysteries of science and developing a love of learning.

About my class
