I am a district 75 special education teacher working with students in grades 3-5. It can be very challenging supplying my classroom with items that interest and engage all of my learners and the varying abilities. Some of my students are non-verbal and are learning to identify their letters and numbers while others are able to have full verbal conversations and are focusing on reading comprehension and multiplication. I work very hard to reach all my learners by differentiating the work, tasks and activities I provide. I purchase new material throughout the school year, sometimes on a weekly basis. Your donations really help support my classroom by making it possible to create a welcoming and engaging learning environment for all of my students.
