Today's tablets have SO many educational resources to keep our students engaged and learning! We will be able to use the tablets during small group instruction in every subject. All of our students want to learn and expand their knowledge and LOVE using technology. Many of the students aren't exposed to technology much outside of school since we are in a very high-poverty city so I think that it is very important to get them as ready to go into the 21st century world as possible. By donating to our classroom, students will be able to become successful in the 21st century learning community and have fun while doing it. The tablets will be used on a daily basis during reading and math groups as independent centers, writing to practice editing and typing skills, social studies for research projects, and science to submit student journals through Stemscopes and also for research projects.
