Flexible seating gives my students choices from the moment they walk into my room. Learning to make choices that at an early age promotes growth. This allows my students to begin to take ownership in their own learning. Also, the physical and mental benefits speak for themselves. Flexible seating will allow for more engagement and active participation in my class. If my students are engaged in the work they will be engaged in the learning. I want my students to feel as though they are choosing to learn and they are choosing to enjoy it. I would love to have the Flex Ball Seat for students who want to sit but also need a little movement while they learn. I would love to have the the Back Jack Anywhere Chair for those students who love to sit on the floor but need to lean on the wall for support. This chair would be perfect! I believe any of these seating items would greatly benefit my students and their learning. “If it’s right for students, it’s right.” -topdogteaching
