Students LOVE having a say in their learning. What better way to develop their learning independence by providing them with flexible seating options to support their learning. The materials that are chosen will allow students to determine what they need to be the best learner they can be. Choices in the classroom bring meaningful experiences to each student’s learning! When students are comfortable they feel confident to take risks and demonstrate all they are capable of. I want my students to understand that it is OK to know what they need as learners. Providing these choices is the first step in allowing my students to be independent learners.
