These books will enhance the learning of reading strategies in a fun and engaging way for my students. Our library is a place my students really value. We are serious about giving students time to read independently, with partners, and with the teacher. Our reading carpet is a place where we build a community of learners in our classroom. We share laughs, stories, and knowledge when we are together here. These specific books I have chosen are centered around my students interests and the reading topics we are required to know as a 3rd grader. I have purchased and created book bins that are labeled and ready for these books to be sorted into them and send my students on reading adventures this year!
