I have a diverse classroom with kids from all over the place. They love Science and love learning about the world around them. They are from low income homes and most of books they see are at school. They often tell me that they love Science and their hands are always up in the air to ask questions. I would love for them to be able to take these books off the shelf and read about these things on their own. Some of the students will bring in magazines, books from the public library, or pamphlets that they find and the other kids surround them just itching to see these resources that we wish we had more of in my classroom.
