Right now we use our math notebooks to solve and show our work and our math thinking. If we have whiteboards this would not only encourage students with a more exciting way to do math, but it would also save the environment from not using so many pages and so many notebooks! Whiteboards are an engaging thing for students and I know my students would benefit greatly from higher engagement/interaction in math and language arts! The whiteboard markers and erasers will be used along with our student whiteboards. They will allow students to use the whiteboards for a long time without having the issue of pens running out or erasers not working well.
