This year my goal is to create a classroom environment full of high academic engagement. STEM Bins are a creative and developmentally appropriate form of engineering for elementary students. STEM bins will allow ALL of my students the opportunity to think outside of the box and solve hands-on, inquiry-based tasks. STEM bins will help promote differentiation within my classroom because they will be the perfect solution for morning work, early finishers, fine motor practice, indoor recess, and positive behavior reinforcements. With different materials such as legos, magnetic blocks, tangrams, and popsicle sticks my students will learn how to think critically and problem solve so that become life long learners.
