Since I am a new reading teacher I need to build my classroom library. With these books my library will be a place that my students really enjoy. In class we read every day! I read to them on the carpet and they read independently! All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind. With these new books students will have the opportunity to choose books they want to read. This will help them continue to enjoy independent reading time and further develop a life long love of reading. With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level!!! The best way to increase reading ability is to read more and they way to read more is to read what is interesting to the reader. These books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word.
