Welcome to our class! We are a phenomenal group of eager and excited middle schoolers who need your support to learn! Each one of the 20 students in my class has a significant intellectual disability, autism, and/or health impairment. It is so vitally important, however, that we see their abilities not just their disabilities. The students in my class have cognitive abilities ranging from 18 months old to 5th grade, so differentiation is the name of the game. While I am fortunate to work in a school that provides us with so much, many of the resources that my students need in order to learn valuable life, academic and social lessons are not part of the content-curriculum provided. Your donations will help bring new learning experiences and necessary supplies to a group of students who deserve access, inclusion and acceptance. They are so eager to see what the world has to offer and teach the world their worth!
