One area my students struggle with is organizational skills. The seat pockets will allow them to maximize instruction time, since all their materials will be on the back of their seats. Instead of having to take turns to get things out of their table crates, they will be able to just turn around and get it from their pocket on the back of their chair. Another area my students struggle with, is having supplies. The students are already limited on the supplies they brought, if they even brought any at all. The sharpener will allow the students to sharpen their crayons rather than throw them away or try to peel the paper down. Most of them are not fortunate enough to have access to technology at home. Not having the access at home limits their capability to use technology. In our classroom, we only have 4 computers. With the 4 tablets, we will be able have more students be able to effectively learn how to use them, as well as more learning opportunities through educational websites. These additions to our classroom will help my students stay connected with the growing technology world, and will help my students maximize their learning time.
