These materials will help make a difference in student learning because it will reduce the number of headaches from the fluorescent lights. These materials will also help students keep their focus because it will reduce the number of times that students get out of their seats due to them being uncomfortable in the hard seats. If scholars are more comfortable and out of pain, they are far more likely to focus on the task that is in front of them. Using many of these will also allow for students to participate comfortably in alternative seating. Alternative seating in my classroom would allow for students to engage more in group work. Also, it is proven that alternative seating increases oxygen flow to the brain which keeps scholars more alert and focused.
