The books I am requesting in this project will give my students the chance to learn about and recognize skills in a various contexts. I am currently using whatever books I can find on Youtube to supplement my curriculum. These books will give my students access to high quality literature and allow me to read aloud to them daily. These books will also be accessible to students so that they can go back and read them. This will give them the opportunity to read books and continue learning about the various skills we are discussing in class. These books will help supplement the social emotional curriculum that I am using in my classroom. Through books students will be exposed to various strategies and tools to help them identify their feelings and emotions. We will use the books to see real examples of coping strategies and identify how to use strategies and various skills that we are learning during our lessons.
