Because Kindergarten is a transition year, these young learners are quickly changing their interests, preferences, and ability levels. In the beginning, it’s similar to preschool but in 180 days they will be readers, writers, and prepared first graders! They need many different hands-on activities and manipulatives to keep them engaged and interested in learning. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Help me introduce them to school and build their educational foundation by presenting them with materials such as counters, puzzles, and puppets that will help them develop fine motor, literacy, and communication skills.
