Our school family is a Title l school located in a tiny rural town. Our school has a diverse population that fosters respect for differences in individuals. The students at our school come from just about every type of family background, but we promote an environment where the primary concern is learning, loving to learn, and respecting one another as one would respect oneself. One difference that I want to foster in my classroom is individuality in the form of developing personal interests. This especially includes their interests in reading, writing, math, and science.
