Since I have students that need heavy academic support, sometimes they do not like school and give up. The clocks: give children the chance to have a hands on experience instead of just watching me model. Prizes: School comes hard for my students. I like to make it exciting and keep them motivated. Dry Erase Markers: I want students to be able to write on their desks and interact with math! I know my students require a little bit more hands on activities and I don't want to punish them because of lack of funds.
