Middle school is a tough time for students... and sometimes for teachers too. My school is located in a small, rural community. We have many students that come from low socioeconomic status households. Unfortunately, we still do not meet the requirements to qualify for Title 1 funding. My school struggles to get the resources we need for our students and for our staff. Technology is the last on the list of purchases because of the expense. Technology, however, is first on the list of classroom and lesson requirements. I started this account in the hopes of getting some much needed equipment and technology in my classroom. It would give my students the opportunity to interact, use, and learn about new technology. It would help them to learn with the technology they will be seeing throughout the rest of their lives.
