The purpose of this project is to provide my students with flexible seating in the classroom. I have often heard the phrase: "when the butt goes numb, the brain goes dumb." This means that it is important to promote movement in all learning environments. Flexible seating will give my students the opportunity to move around while also giving them a sense of empowerment through choice. "The outside world is ever-changing and full of choices." They can prepare to make decisions in the real world by having the power of choice in the classroom.
