Our students love having the opportunity of using computers because they get to use technology to help them with their struggles in reading, writing and math. We would use the computers to give students the opportunity to access different computer programs to give them learning activities on their own personal growth level. Giving students with learning disabilities the access to technology is giving them the ability to learn in different ways and access their full potential in the general education setting. Another example of how we would use the computer is for testing and assignments. Our students need a quiet space to complete tests and assignments at their own pace, while also having the opportunity to have their tests read aloud for them.
