With the new hybrid/remote learning plan, students who are coming to school in person require their own individual learning materials and kits. Students are unable to share most toys/materials and will each be provided with their own bin of tools and bags for books. Much of my project will go towards ensuring that students coming to school in person have the materials they require in order to learn safely. Each student will receive their own sensory materials, book bags, cushions, and bins for their materials. Other materials in this project will go towards setting up my classroom (including resources to set up bulletin boards, a large classroom timer), keeping things organized (such as paper organizers to keep track of important documents), as well as other sensory and social emotional materials that my students benefit from (i.e. mood emotion mirrors, a deck of mindfulness/yoga kids cards). All of these supplies will help make this unprecedented year a successful one!
