My students struggle with basic behavior and inattention, which then ties into their ability to focus. I truly believe bringing mindfulness into the classroom, being aware of their behaviors, and the ability to get the wiggles out through this flexible seating opportunity will address the basic needs my students have which will allow me to reach their true learning potential! I want to show them that they can be antsy and still learn, no matter the subject. With 37 students right now, there isn’t much room to put in flexible seating spaces, so these chairs are a perfect addition to my small group corner!
