It is our daily goal to promote inclusion, independence and self-confidence in our classroom. Most of our students attend some regular education classes for social opportunities. With that said, the majority of their academic intervention comes from small-group activities and experiences within the Special Education Classroom. These different variations of learning groups allow students to exercise and practice their knowledge and skills in different settings. The Magic School Bus Science Kits will provide an opportunity for students to explore areas of interest, and discover new areas they have not yet had the opportunity to learn about. With the hands-on nature of the Science kits, students engagement and understanding increases immensely.
