I will be using these seating options in my classroom for students to work on projects and have discussions in small groups, play learning games in math workshop, and take pride in their classroom. These cushions and seating options will provide my students with a safe comfortable place to collaborate, engage, and take ownership of their learning. Because of the vinyl material, they will be easy to clean and durable. It also teaches my 2nd graders the responsibility of making wise choices about seating that works for them. Adding this seating to my classroom will improve student engagement and encourage a positive culture.
