I work at a school where my students are predominately English Language Learners. They live in one of the most disadvantaged areas of our city and over 90% of students are getting free or reduced lunches. My students are constantly working to not only continue to learn the academics, but to also continue to learn to speak English. Just like anyone else, my students are trying to find their way in this world and to become well rounded, educated individuals; I am doing everything I can to help them be inspired, strive for better, believe in themselves, and continuing learning! I'm here to teach, and they're eager to learn. I believe learning can be fun & definitely should be. A student that loves, appreciates, & is enjoying their learning experience, will learn the most! I am rooting for every student that walks through my door because all students have the potential to learn more if someone is in their corner!
