These materials will help my students expand their reading skills and comprehension skills. By exposing them to new stories every month, they will also be able to expand their horizons and keep up with current events. One of the biggest struggles that my students have is with reading comprehension. My goal is to expose them to more articles to increase their reading comprehension while giving them new material that they are interested in. SCOPE would be perfect for this goal because it has many different topics that they could choose to read about.
