My school has all students receiving free breakfast and lunch, serving a very diverse population. Many of our students are from high poverty areas. I serve three- and four-year-old students, up to 85% of which have special needs. Early Childhood special education is important to children who need support in developing important social/emotional skills. These skills range from friendship to self-regulation and calming. My students' needs vary widely, but they are all learning the social/emotional skills necessary to be successful in a classroom environment.

About my class
